Day trips 2021

Feb 12, 2022   A Raisin in the Sun
Theater performance at the Guthrie Theater, Minneapolis. View the Mississippi River.
Lunch included.
I wish we could go but unfortunately not enough people signed up.  We needed 6 more people.

NO OTHER TRIPS PLANNED.  I have had requests for trips but it would be unlikely to round up 20 people for a trip.  We are so close with 14+ wanting to go but the number needed for covering the bus cost isn't /wasn't happening.  I could charge more and go with fewer people but am trying to keep the trips affordable.

CANCELLED Day trip to A Raisin in the Sun, Guthrie Theater, Minneapolis

We were short by 6 people to have the trip be a go.... Covid is affecting the trips. Stay safe. What happens to a dream deferred? Does it dry up like a raisin in the sun? A play by Lorraine Hansberry that opened on Broadway in 1959. The title comes from a poem by Langston Hughes. It was the first play written by an African American woman to be produced on Broadway and was the first with an African American director. This trip will also include lunch. The theater requires a mask and proof of vaccination or negative COVID-19 test. If you are part of a group of 6 or more - ask about the discount.
