The sculpture garden has over 60 statues, including the famous cherry on a spoon. Flour mills are very much apart of the history of the state. The Mill City museum will include a partly guided tour of the area with outstanding view of the Mississippi River. A favorite MN Historic Society site on the Mississippi. You can also walk along the river. Admission to the museum included.

We will learn about Sandhill cranes on the ride down and have time with a naturalist at the visitor center, then view them flying in from the field. Listen to the ancient sounds. I hope the beautiful orange tints of a gorgeous sunset will be part of the special evening with this magnificent birds taking a break before flying south.
